President expresses grief on loss of lives

Kathmandu - President Bidya Devi Bhandari has expressed deep sorrow on the demise of six people including four of the same family in Dhorpatan and Nirsakhola rural municipality of Baglung on Friday, and nine people in a jeep accident in Doti districts.

The President also expressed grief over the loss of lives and properties incurred in the landslides and road accidents taking place in different parts of the country, stated a press release issued by the President's Office on Saturday.

The President has stressed that the government should always be cautious to lessen the loss brought by natural disaster. President Bhandari also urged all the concerned government agencies to immediately pay attention on the loss of lives and properties caused by natural calamities and road accidents, reads the release.
