Sunrisers Hyderabad Defeat Chennai Super Kings by 10 Runs in IPL 2026

Chasing the target of 195 runs set by Hyderabad, Chennai could only manage 184 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in their allotted 20 overs.

Earlier, batting first, Hyderabad scored 194 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs. Abhishek Sharma and Heinrich Klaasen played excellent half-century innings for Hyderabad. Sharma scored 59 runs off 22 balls, while Klaasen added 59 runs off 39 balls. Similarly, Travis Head contributed 23 runs off 20 balls.

For Chennai's bowling, Anshul Kamboj and Jamie Overton took 3 wickets each, while Mukesh Choudhary secured 2 wickets.

While chasing the target of 195 runs, Matt Short scored the highest 34 runs for Chennai. Likewise, Ayush Mhatre added 30 runs off 13 balls, and Sarfaraz Khan scored 25 runs off 19 balls.

In Hyderabad's victory, Ishan Malinga took 3 wickets in bowling. Nitish Kumar Reddy took 2 wickets, and Shivank Kumar secured 1 wicket.
