Gold and Silver Prices Surge in Local Market

Kathmandu. The price of gold and silver has increased in the local market today. Gold has risen by Rs 6,000 per tola, while silver has increased by Rs 320.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of fine gold is set at Rs 302,700 per tola today, and the price of the same quantity of silver is Rs 5,220.

Last Monday, one tola of gold was traded at Rs 296,700, and the same quantity of silver was traded at Rs 4,900. Last Sunday, the price of gold was Rs 297,100, and the same quantity of silver was set at Rs 4,975.

According to international media, gold is trading at 4,828 USD per ounce and silver at 80 USD per ounce in the international market today.
