Kalimati Market Releases Wholesale Prices for Agricultural Produce

Kathmandu. The Kalimati Fruits and Vegetable Market Development Committee has determined the wholesale prices of agricultural produce for today.

According to the committee, the prices per kilogram are as follows: Large Tomato (Indian) Rs 75, Small Tomato (Local) Rs 35, Small Tomato (Indian) Rs 35, Small Tomato (Terai) Rs 44, Red Potato Rs 23, Red Potato (Indian) Rs 24, and Dried Onion (Indian) Rs 36.

Similarly, Carrot (Local) is Rs 40, Carrot (Terai) Rs 25, Cabbage (Local) Rs 45, Cauliflower (Local) Rs 60, Cauliflower (Local-Jyapu) Rs 80, White Radish (Hybrid) Rs 30, Long Brinjal Rs 70, and Round Brinjal Rs 80.

Furthermore, prices are set for various vegetables including String Beans (Rs 90), Peas (Rs 80), Green Beans (Local) (Rs 80), Green Beans (Hybrid) (Rs 60), Green Beans (Rajma) (Rs 120), Snake Beans (Rs 110), Soybean Pods (Rs 340), Bitter Gourd (Rs 80), Bottle Gourd (Rs 40), Pointed Gourd (Local) (Rs 100), Snake Gourd (Rs 70), Sponge Gourd (Rs 50), Ridge Gourd (Rs 110), Ripe Pumpkin (Rs 60), Green Pumpkin (Long) (Rs 40), Green Pumpkin (Round) (Rs 50), Okra (Rs 110), Sweet Potato (Rs 80), Barela (Rs 60), Taro (Rs 50), and Chayote (Rs 70).

Asparagus is priced at Rs 500, Fiddlehead Fern (Niguro) at Rs 80, Broccoli at Rs 100, Beetroot at Rs 50, Drumstick at Rs 120, Koiralo at Rs 270, Red Cabbage at Rs 40, Kohlrabi at Rs 50, Celery at Rs 150, Parsley at Rs 220, Dill Leaves at Rs 120, Mint at Rs 120, Turnip at Rs 50, Tamarind at Rs 180, Bamboo Shoots at Rs 160, Tofu at Rs 160, and Gundruk at Rs 250.
