49 Armed Police Inspectors Commissioned at Matatirtha Academy

Kathmandu. On Chaitra 30, 49 Armed Police Inspectors were commissioned at the Armed Police Force Training Academy in Matatirtha, Kathmandu. Home Minister Sudhan Gurung addressed the graduation ceremony.

Among the graduates were 3 women. One of them, Inspector Palak Singh Rathore, is the daughter of Nepal Police Additional Inspector General (AIG) Sushil Singh Rathore, having completed 56 weeks of rigorous training before entering the field.

Sushil, head of the Nepal Police's Crime Investigation Department, visited the academy in Matatirtha to congratulate his daughter. Celebrating her achievement while he remains in service, Sushil wrote on social media, 'Daughter, your hard work makes us proud. May your future journey be filled with courage, honor, success, and happiness.' He wished for her to remain dedicated to the service of the nation and the people with integrity.

At the graduation ceremony, the father adorned his daughter with the insignia. The father and daughter shared their joy. Samir Bahadur Rawal stood first in the 17th Armed Police Basic Training.

Janak Badayar Joshi stood first in drill, Pushkar Joshi in physical endurance, and Pradeep Kunwar in marksmanship. They were awarded prizes by Home Minister Gurung.
