Gold prices surge in Nepal on the first day of 2083

Kathmandu. The price of gold has increased in the Nepali market on the first day of the new year 2083. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of gold has risen by 3,100 rupees per tola today, nearing the 300,000 rupee mark.

As per the rates published by the Federation, the price of fine gold is set at 299,800 rupees per tola today. Previously, on the last day of the year 2082 (yesterday), gold was traded at 296,700 rupees per tola.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold is set at 257,030 rupees today, compared to 254,370 rupees the previous day.

Along with gold, the price of silver has also seen an increase. Silver has risen by 165 rupees per tola today, reaching 5,065 rupees. Yesterday, silver was traded at 4,900 rupees per tola. The Federation stated that the price of 10 grams of silver has been set at 4,343 rupees today.
