Sunrisers Hyderabad Secure Dominant 57-Run Victory Over Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2026

Kathmandu. In the Indian Premier League 2026 match held on Monday, Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Rajasthan Royals by a wide margin of 57 runs. Chasing a massive target of 217 runs set by Hyderabad, Rajasthan was bundled out for 159 runs in 19 overs.

Batting first after losing the toss, Hyderabad scored 216 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. For Hyderabad, opener Ishan Kishan played an explosive innings, scoring 91 runs off just 44 balls. He was well supported by Heinrich Klaasen, who scored 40 runs off 26 balls, and Nitish Kumar Reddy, who added 28 runs off 13 balls. For Rajasthan, Jofra Archer took 2 wickets, while Riyan Parag and Sandeep Sharma claimed one wicket each.

Rajasthan did not have a good start in their reply. Although Donovan Ferreira scored a team-high 69 runs off 44 balls, he could not lead the team to victory.
