Woman clings to moving truck in China to catch husband cheating

Beijing. An unbelievable incident has been reported in Maralbexi County, Xinjiang Province, China. Motorists alerted the police after spotting a woman hanging dangerously onto the back of a moving truck. 

Upon stopping the truck and conducting an investigation, police discovered that this was not a stunt, but a result of marital jealousy and suspicion. Videos that have gone viral on social media show the woman holding tightly onto a metal bar at the back of the truck. 

When police stopped the vehicle and questioned them, it was revealed that the woman was the truck driver's wife. Suspecting her husband of having an affair with another woman, she had planned to catch him red-handed. When her husband left the house with the truck at night, she secretly climbed onto the back to follow him.

According to the police, it is a stroke of luck that the woman survived. Had the truck been moving faster or the road been bumpy, she could have fallen and suffered a serious accident. Local media reported that the woman, surnamed Yu, had put her own life at risk.

As a result of this incident, the husband was also fined. Police fined the driver 200 yuan and deducted three points from his license for failing to properly check his vehicle before driving. 

Chinese authorities have used this incident as an example, urging couples to resolve their problems through communication and counseling.
