Invited to bat first after losing the toss, Chennai posted a massive total of 212 runs for the loss of just 2 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. For Chennai, Sanju Samson played an explosive innings, scoring an unbeaten 115 runs off just 56 balls. He was well supported by Ayush Mhatre, who scored 59 runs off 36 balls.
