Federation of Nepalese National Transport Entrepreneurs Announces 7th National Convention

Kathmandu. The 7th National Convention of the Federation of Nepalese National Transport Entrepreneurs is scheduled to be held this coming Baisakh. The Federation's central secretariat issued a notice confirming that the convention will take place on 2083 Baisakh 27, 28, and 29.

To ensure the convention is well-organized, the Federation has issued various directives to its subordinate bodies. Furthermore, the Federation has mandated that districts that have yet to hold their district conventions must complete them by the end of Chaitra. The notice states that districts failing to hold their conventions within the stipulated time will not be allowed to participate in the national convention.

Similarly, a deadline of Baisakh 15 has been set for the collection of names of representatives participating in the convention. Provincial coordinators must submit the records of representatives selected from their respective provinces to the central office by office hours (5:00 PM) on that date.

Additionally, representatives participating in the convention must submit two copies of their photographs, along with the membership levy and representative fees. The Federation has clarified that members with outstanding levies or other financial obligations will not be permitted to participate in the convention.

This year's convention prioritizes the use of technology. The elections for the Federation's central committee and provincial committees will be held on the same day and at the same location. The notice mentions that the election process will be conducted through 'technology-friendly electronic voting'.

Regarding districts within Bagmati Province facing issues, arrangements have been made to have the representative lists verified by officials designated by the central secretariat and submitted by Chaitra 15.
