President Paudel Addresses Joint Session of Federal Parliament

Kathmandu. President Ramchandra Paudel has expressed his gratitude and thanks to all those who contributed to the election held on Falgun 21.

Addressing a joint session of both houses of the Federal Parliament on Friday, President Paudel stated that the election has attracted a new generation to Nepali politics. He noted that the public aspires for effective service delivery, the rule of law, employment opportunities, and rapid socio-economic stability.

He expressed confidence that the new parliament would enact necessary laws and emphasized that the martyrs would only be honored if the judiciary delivers impartial justice.

He remarked that while the constitution has been implemented over the past 10 years, much remains to be done to meet the aspirations of the people. Expressing his belief that the government will focus on creating conditions for the youth to remain in their own country in line with the desires of the new generation, he stated that no nation can develop with a frustrated workforce.

The President emphasized the need for the government to leave no stone unturned in breaking public frustration and streamlining government services, while also stressing the importance of maintaining balanced foreign relations.
