Government Expands Cabinet with New Ministerial Appointments

Kathmandu. The government has expanded the Cabinet, assigning responsibilities for the Ministry of Industry and the Ministry of Labour. Gauri Kumari Yadav has been appointed as the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Supplies, while Ramji Yadav has been appointed as the Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security.

Both newly appointed ministers are incumbent Members of Parliament from the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP). The two ministers are scheduled to take the oath of office and secrecy before the President at a special ceremony held at the President's Office, Shital Niwas, today.

Immediately following the swearing-in ceremony, they will proceed to their respective ministries to assume office.

Previously, Deepak Shah, who held the responsibility of the Ministry of Labour, was removed following a controversy, while the Ministry of Industry had been held by Prime Minister Balendra Shah himself.
