Department of Foreign Employment Orders Removal of Misleading Labor Permit Advertisements

Kathmandu. The Department of Foreign Employment has directed cyber centers and training institutes located near the department to remove misleading information regarding 'labor permits' by Chaitra 30.

The department issued the directive stating that signs such as 'Labor permits processed here', 'Labor online forms filled here', or other misleading 'labor' related notices are confusing service seekers heading for foreign employment.

The department stated that labor permit-related tasks are only handled by the Department of Foreign Employment and designated Labor and Employment Offices. In a notice issued today, the department urged an immediate halt to any writing or promotional activities that create confusion regarding these services.

The department warned that failure to comply with this notice will result in action taken under the Foreign Employment Act, 2064, and other prevailing laws.
