25 Individuals Arrested Across Nepal in Major Drug Crackdown

Kathmandu. Twenty-five individuals have been arrested from various locations across the country for drug-related offenses. According to the Central Police News Room, two people were arrested with 305 Tramadol tablets from Kathmandu Metropolitan City-7, two from Mitranagar in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-26, one from Kalika Municipality-2 in Chitwan, and two from Madi Municipality-6.

Similarly, one person was arrested from Baluwatar in Tikapur Municipality-9, Kailali; three from Baschowk in Inaruwa Municipality-4, Sunsari; and four from Hotel Dolakha Darshan in Lisankhu Pakhar Rural Municipality-5, Mude, Sindhupalchok, all in possession of brown heroin.

The news bulletin published by the police today further states that six individuals were arrested from Dumre in Urlabari Municipality-2, Morang; one from Bahundangi Road in Kakarbhitta, Mechinagar Municipality-6; two from Jitpursimara Sub-Metropolitan City-21, Bara; two from Fenhara Chowk in Bishnu Rural Municipality-5, Sarlahi; one with 30 kilograms of drugs from Ratmate in Gajuri Rural Municipality-2, Dhading; and one from Madhuwan Municipality-6, Bardiya.
