Election Commission Resumes Voter Registration in Tanahun

Tanahun. The Election Commission has resumed the voter registration and update program. A system has been implemented allowing applications to be submitted online using National Identity Card details.

District Election Office Chief Bikas Lamsal stated, "Approximately 90 percent of applicants have registered their names online using their National Identity Cards."

To date, 464 people have registered in the voter list, with 419 registering via the National Identity Card and 55 visiting the office in person.

Meanwhile, all candidates who competed in the elections from both constituencies have submitted their election expenditure reports.

A total of 27 candidates, including 16 from Tanahun Constituency No. 1 and 11 from Constituency No. 2, have submitted their expenditure details.
