Karnali Provincial Assembly Secretary Jivaraj Budhathoki Resigns

Surkhet. The resignation of Karnali Provincial Assembly Secretary Jivaraj Budhathoki has been accepted. Province Chief Yagya Raj Joshi approved his resignation on Wednesday.

Budhathoki submitted his resignation letter on Tuesday evening. He resigned from his post after crossing the age of 65. 

However, the approval letter notes that he cited personal reasons in his resignation application.

Budhathoki had faced widespread public and media scrutiny for attempting to remain in office despite reaching the age of 65. Following intense pressure, he finally agreed to step down.
