King Fahd Causeway reopens after temporary closure

Riyadh. The King Fahd Causeway, which connects Saudi Arabia and Bahrain by road, has resumed operations.

 The bridge was closed as a precautionary measure due to the risk of potential debris following Iranian airstrikes that posed a threat to nearby energy infrastructure. 

However, after approximately five hours, officials announced via social media that traffic flow had resumed. This bridge is a structure approximately 15.5 miles long. 

It provides the only direct land transport route between the two Gulf nations.
