RSP Lawmaker Achyutam Lamichhane Demands Budget for Monkey Sterilization

Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party lawmaker Achyutam Lamichhane has demanded the allocation of a budget for the sterilization of monkeys to control their population.

Speaking during the zero hour of the House of Representatives meeting on Tuesday, lawmaker Lamichhane stated that monkeys are destroying crops in districts including Nuwakot, making control measures essential.

Emphasizing that sterilization is crucial for monkey control, he called for the necessary budget allocation. He further urged the government to allocate funds to mitigate the rising conflict between humans and wild animals.
