President Poudel Reshuffles Ministerial Order of Precedence

Kathmandu. President Ramchandra Poudel has reshuffled the order of precedence for members of the Council of Ministers. The order of precedence was adjusted in accordance with Article 76, Clause (9) of the Constitution of Nepal, upon the recommendation of Prime Minister Balendra Shah (Balen).

According to the new order of precedence, Home Minister Sudhan Gurung, who was previously in the third position, has moved to the fifth position.

Dr. Swarnim Wagle remains in the second position, while Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal is in the third and Energy Minister Birajbhakta Shrestha is in the fourth position.

Following them, in order, are Minister of Physical Infrastructure and Transport and Urban Development Sunil Lamsal, Minister of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Sobita Gautam, Minister of Women, Children and Senior Citizens Sita Badi, Minister of Federal Affairs and General Administration, Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation Pratibha Rawal, Minister of Health and Population and Water Supply Nisha Mehta, Minister of Education, Science and Technology and Youth and Sports Sasmit Pokharel, Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Khadak Raj Poudel, Minister of Communication and Information Technology Bikram Timsina, Minister of Agriculture and Livestock Development and Forests and Environment Gita Chaudhary, and Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security Deepak Kumar Sah.
