Stage adaptation of Madan Puraskar-winning novel 'Seto Dharti' to premiere on Chaitra 27

Kathmandu. The play 'Seto Dharti' is set to be staged starting from Chaitra 27. Based on the famous Madan Puraskar-winning book 'Seto Dharti' written by Amar Neupane, this play is being produced by Kantipur Film Academy. Actress Benisha Hamal is in the lead role. Hamal is making her theater debut with this play.

The producer of the play is actress Rekha Thapa. In addition to actress Hamal, more than 30 artists from the theater and Kantipur Film Academy are appearing on stage simultaneously in the play, which is currently in rehearsals. As it is a popular and best-selling novel in the Nepali literary world, 'Seto Dharti' is being viewed with high expectations by Nepali theater audiences and the literary sector.

Kantipur Film Academy CEO Prakash Puri stated that through Kantipur Theater, the academy has been presenting popular books as plays with the aim of connecting theater, cinema, and literature.

'Seto Dharti' will be staged from Friday, Chaitra 27 to Saturday, Baishakh 19. It is reported that there will be shows every day at 5:15 PM except Wednesdays, with additional special shows at 1:15 PM on Saturdays, Sundays, and New Year's Day.
