RCB Secures Dominant 43-Run Victory Over CSK in IPL 2026

Kathmandu. In Sunday's Indian Premier League (IPL) match, Royal Challengers Bengaluru defeated Chennai Super Kings by a significant margin of 43 runs.

Batting first, RCB posted a massive total of 250 runs for the loss of just 3 wickets in their allotted 20 overs, aided by an exceptional batting display. Tim David led the charge for RCB with an explosive unbeaten 70 off just 25 balls. Devdutt Padikkal contributed a half-century off 29 balls, while Rajat Patidar added an unbeaten 48 off 19 balls. For CSK, Bhuvneshwar Kumar was the pick of the bowlers, taking 3 wickets.

Chasing a mammoth target of 251, Chennai Super Kings were bowled out for 207 runs in 19.4 overs. Sarfaraz Khan made a valiant effort for CSK with a 25-ball 50, but could not lead the team to victory. Prashant Veer added 43 runs and Jamie Overton scored 37. For RCB, Shivam Dube, Jamie Overton, and Anshul Kamboj each claimed one wicket.
