Minister Sobita Gautam Pledges to Expedite Legislative Process

Kathmandu. Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Sobita Gautam has stated that she is committed to accelerating the legislative process.

She expressed this commitment on Sunday while supporting the proposal to elect MP Dol Prasad Aryal as Speaker of the House of Representatives. Minister Gautam stated that she would provide support to ensure the Federal Parliament is established as an effective workplace in the coming days. She also emphasized that the role of the Federal Parliament must be effective in holding the government accountable.

Minister Gautam also made it clear that there is no room for delay in the parliament regarding the drafting of laws to address the needs of the people.
