Ahmedabad. The second match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Saturday will feature a clash between Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals. This is the ninth encounter of the season. The match will begin at 7:45 PM at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Rajasthan defeated Chennai in their opening match, while Gujarat suffered a loss against Punjab Kings. Rajasthan Royals are considered the stronger side in this match, largely due to the excellent form of 15-year-old batter Vaibhav Suryavanshi. Gujarat's batting relies heavily on the top order, and their strategy is for at least one top batter to remain at the crease until the 15th over. Therefore, Buttler is expected to regain his form soon.

On the other hand, Nandre Burger dismissed two of Chennai Super Kings' top three batters—Sanju Samson and Ayush Mhatre—within his first two overs. He can bowl at speeds of 140 km/h and generates good bounce due to his height. 

At the Narendra Modi Stadium, where the run rate in the powerplay (8.54) is lower than in the middle overs (9.87) and death overs (10.12), Burger could target Gujarat's right-handed top-order batters, Gill and Buttler.
