Nepal Police Increases Recruitment Quota for Police Constables

Kathmandu. The Nepal Police Headquarters has increased the number of vacancies for the position of Police Constable to be filled through open competition in the General Police Group. An additional 1,375 positions have been added to the number mentioned in the advertisement published in Ashoj 2082, bringing the total recruitment to 2,928.

The Human Resource Development Department of the Police Headquarters issued a notice today providing detailed information regarding the increased number of posts. Initially, 1,553 positions were requested in the advertisement dated 10 Ashoj 2082. Following the progression of the recruitment process, 1,375 additional vacant positions were included in the same advertisement, nearly doubling the total count.

According to the new arrangement, out of the total 2,928 positions, 1,578 will be recruited through open competition.
