Police Arrest 28 Individuals for Drug Possession Across Nepal

Kathmandu. A police team on regular patrol has arrested 28 individuals from various parts of the country for possession of illegal drugs.

According to the Central Police News Room, one person was arrested from Koshi Municipality-8, Bhantabari in Sunsari; seven from Bhadrapur Municipality-5, Narsingh Bagan in Jhapa; one from Kankai Municipality-6, Campa in Jhapa; and three from Mithila Municipality-10, Ratupul in Dhanusha.

Similarly, one person was arrested from Dhanushadham Municipality-9, Dharapani; one from Janaki Rural Municipality-5 in Banke; three from Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City-16; two from Tikapur Municipality-9, Baluwatar in Kailali; and one from Lamkichuha Municipality-1, Bharuwa.

Additionally, four individuals were arrested from various locations in Kathmandu, two from Kohalpur Municipality-4, Belanpur in Banke, and two from Bagmati Rural Municipality-3, Bhattedanda in Lalitpur. It has been reported that cash was also seized from some of the suspects. They were arrested on Wednesday.
