Tatopani Border Crossing Reopens After Kodari Highway Repairs Following Heavy Rainfall

The Tatopani border crossing has resumed operation after the Kodari highway section, damaged by incessant rainfall, was repaired.  

According to Narayan Dutt Bhandari, Chief of the Road Division Charikot, both small and large vehicles have started plying on the road following the maintenance.  

The road was opened for small vehicles starting at 8 PM last night. Bhandari stated that the route was fully opened only after 12 PM today for large vehicles as further maintenance was required.  

 'We allowed small vehicles to pass yesterday evening. We repaired further for large vehicles this morning and resumed the road around 12 PM today,' he said.
