Local levels of Bhimduttanagar san employees

Bhimduttanagar –Activities of local-level have been affected in lack of required number of employees. 
At an interaction on 'Local-level and Media' organised by Kanchanpur chapter of Federation of Nepali Journalists here today, Chairperson of Beldandi rural municipality, Dhan Bahadur Thapa, complained that various problems have surfaced to carry out activities of the people in lack of employees. 


He said, "We have allocated budget keeping road, education, drinking water as well as other development construction works in priority. But lack of employees has affected these activities." 


Similarly, Mayor of Bedkot municipality Ashok Kumar Chand said, "The government has deputed 1,600 employees in local-level. But only 300 employees are on their posted offices." 
He complained that the employees are not supporting the local-level. 


Shuklaphanta municipality mayor Dil Bahadur Aeir said they have forwarded development programmes in all wards as per the need and media persons should carry out monitoring of the issues of transparency and good governance. 


The mayor said that the municipality has made arrangement of budget for the development, expansion and promotion of media sector. 


Likewise, former Chairperson of Minimum Wage Fixation Committee Khem Bhandari stressed that local media should be aware about the evils and aberrations that can take place in villages at a time when the people have been getting Singha Durbar centric services at their door steps.
