10,000 litres of homemade liquor seized, destroyed

Lahan – Police have seized and destroyed a huge quantity of homemade liquor at Lahan Municipality-5 in Siraha district. 

A team headed by Police Inspector at Area Police Office, Lahan, Bijay Yadav seized 10,000 litres of homemade liquor based on a tipoff that the liquor was being illegally produced and traded at the area. Police have adopted

strict policy on the production of liquor in the town after different incidents like domestic violence, violence against women and quarrel started increasing in the recent days in Lahan. Police also seized goods used to produce the booze, added Yadav.
