Maoist Center's CC meeting to conclude today

Kathmandu, January 7 — The third day of discussions for the 8th Central Committee meeting of the CPN (Maoist Centre) has commenced.

At the start of the meeting, Chairman Prachanda gave a brief address.

Prachanda informed that since there was a consensus on his political proposal, discussions on the proposal would conclude by 2 PM today, and the decision-making process would proceed.

By Monday, 80 central committee members had shared their opinions, while 100 more members are yet to express their views.

Prachanda's secretariat has stated that the meeting is expected to conclude today.
