Iran Reports Israeli Attack on Uranium Plant in Central Province

Tehran. Various media outlets, citing Iran's Atomic Energy Organization, reported that Israel attacked a uranium plant in Iran's central Yazd province on Friday. No radioactive leakage has been reported from the attack site so far.

The plant, inaugurated in May 2023, serves as an intermediate step in processing 'uranium concentrate powder' and other necessary materials for uranium production.

Meanwhile, Iran's state news agency IRNA reported that two people were killed and two others injured in an attack by the US-Israel on a cement industry in the southwestern Fars province on Friday.
