West Asia Tensions Force Cancellation of International Flights from Kathmandu Airport

International flights operating from Tribhuvan International Airport have been affected due to tensions in West Asia.  

According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, six flights operated by various airlines were canceled today.  

Flights to destinations including Kuwait and Dubai, operated by Nepal Airlines and Himalayan Airlines, were among those canceled.   Hundreds of passengers have been inconvenienced by the flight suspensions.  

The airport office stated that it is continuously coordinating with the concerned airlines and agencies to make management smooth and effective, keeping in mind the potential inconvenience to passengers caused by the flight disruptions. Flights had also been canceled previously.
