Singer Prakash Saput Returns to Entertainment Career After Political Aspirations

Singer Prakash Saput has returned to his artistic career. Saput informed this on Saturday by writing a status on the social networking site Facebook.

He stated, "I now want to entertain the public without worry. I want to set aside the burden of social and political awareness carried by my young mind and simply be an entertainer. I want to be an equal person in the eyes of society and the state."

Artist Saput was proposed in the proportional representation list from the Rastriya Swatantra Party but did not make it. Although he was preparing to dedicate five years of his life to the country by entering the election, he stated that he has no complaints about being left out.

He also recalled the proposal made by RSP Chairman Rabi Lamichhane to contribute to the country while remaining in the party. However, he also mentioned advising Chairman Lamichhane to work in a way that makes him feel that the country will truly develop.
