Young Man Drowns in Pond in Sarlahi Headquarters, Identity Unconfirmed

Sarlahi. A young man died today after drowning in a pond in Malangwa, the headquarters of Sarlahi district. The identity of the deceased has not yet been confirmed.

District Police Office Spokesperson and Deputy Superintendent of Police Saroj Rai informed that a 30-year-old man died by drowning in the Nasi Pond located in Malangwa Municipality-2. He stated that the body was recovered by casting a fishing net with the help of locals.

Locals informed the police after seeing the young man drowning in the pond. After the Nepal Army, Nepal Police, and Armed Police Force failed to locate him during the search, his body was finally recovered by casting a net with the help of locals.
