District Office Established in Rautahat for National Economic Census 2082

Rautahat. A district economic census office has been established in Gaur, the district headquarters of Rautahat, for the operation of the National Economic Census 2082. The district-level office for the National Economic Census 2082 was established on Wednesday afternoon during a program at the Taxpayer Service Office complex in Gaur.

The office established at the Taxpayer Service Office complex aims to collect realistic data on the overall economic activities of the district. It is believed that the actual economic condition of the district will be revealed through this program, which operates under the National Statistics Office.

The Chief District Officer (CDO) of Rautahat, Dinesh Sagar Bhusal, who was present as the chief guest at the office establishment program, stated that the economic census will provide detailed statistics regarding the status of industry, trade, service sectors, and employment.

According to CDO Bhusal, the collected data will clarify the local economic picture and support the formulation of long-term development plans. Furthermore, Statistics Officer Sumant Yadav informed that the data collection work through door-to-door visits, manpower management, and training necessary for the census will commence soon.

The inauguration program was attended by stakeholders including the Chief of the District Election Office Rautahat, Chhotelal Das, the Chief of the Administration Branch of the District Administration Office Rautahat, Ramnaresh Sah, Accountant Brajkishore Sah, Umesh Yadav, and others.

It is expected that the data obtained from the economic census will contribute significantly to policy formulation, development planning, and investment promotion.
