Fourteen Arrested Across Nepal in Separate Incidents for Illegal Drug Possession

Kathmandu. Fourteen individuals have been arrested in various parts of the country for possession of illegal narcotics. The arrests took place in Kathmandu, Sunsari, Chitwan, Saptari, Bardiya, Kailali, and Parsa.

According to the Central News Room of the Police, two individuals were arrested from Tribhuvan International Airport, two from the vegetable market in Kamalnagar, Bharatpur Metropolitan City-3, Chitwan, two from Tirhut Rural Municipality-2, Badhara, Saptari, two from Belauri Municipality-10 Sadakghat, Kanchanpur, and two from Gandak Chowk, Birgunj Metropolitan City-14, Parsa.

Similarly, one person each was arrested from Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City-20, Tarahara, Sunsari; Phutaha, Badhaiyatal Rural Municipality-2, Bardiya; Gauriganga Municipality-11 Gaudibazar; and Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-8 Dhangadhigaun, Kailali, the Police Central News Room stated. The police have confirmed that all arrested individuals are in police custody and necessary investigations are underway.
