South Indian Actress Rashmika Mandanna Issues Stern Warning Over Viral Old Audio Clip

Hyderabad. South Indian actress Rashmika Mandanna has strongly objected after an old audio clip of hers went viral on social media. 

Calling it a serious violation of her privacy, Rashmika has warned those spreading the material to remove it within 24 hours. She clarified that if the audio is not removed within the stipulated time, she will be forced to initiate legal action. 

Sharing a long note via Instagram, Rashmika stated that the viral audio is part of a private conversation from about eight years ago. According to her, this conversation was recorded without the permission and knowledge of the concerned individuals, and is now being used out of context. 

Stating that she has been subjected to deliberate trolling and misinformation campaigns over the past few years, she has decided not to remain silent anymore. She expressed distress that her family and relatives have had to endure unnecessary mental stress due to this controversy. 

The audio clip that went viral on social media is reportedly related to Rashmika's past relationship and broken engagement. According to reports, the phone conversation between Rashmika's mother and an acquaintance discusses her relationship with Kannada actor and director Rakshit Shetty and the differences between the two families. 

Rakshit Shetty is a famous star in Kannada cinema, with whom Rashmika was engaged a few years ago, but the relationship later ended. Insisting that raising her voice for her dignity and mental peace is mandatory, Rashmika appealed to media platforms and influencers to immediately remove the misleading audio. 

She thanked her fans for supporting her during her difficult time and stated that she will no longer compromise on the protection of her privacy.
