Protest Held in Pokhara Demanding Immediate Investigation into Inisha Murder Case

A protest was held in Pokhara on Thursday demanding an immediate investigation into the Inisha murder case. A group gathered independently and demonstrated, chanting slogans in front of the Kaski District Administration Office. They demanded an immediate probe into the incident.

Sixteen-year-old Inisha B.K., originally from Gurabkot Municipality-6 Badakhola, Surkhet, was found semi-conscious in Birendranagar on Saturday. Doctors at the Provincial Hospital declared her dead upon arrival.

She was residing with her family in Birendranagar Municipality-1. She left home on Saturday morning saying she was going to tuition, but was found unconscious around 9 AM in the Janajagaran Community Forest, north of Birendranagar Municipality-4, and was rushed to the hospital.

Police have initiated further investigation into the incident.
