Trump Claims Crude Oil Prices Will Drop Significantly Amid Geopolitical Tensions

Washington D.C. US President Donald Trump claimed that crude oil prices will soon drop more than expected. Trump made this remark at a time when oil prices are rising due to the conflict between the US-Israel and Iran. Addressing his supporters in Kentucky, Trump mentioned that 32 countries have decided to release oil from their strategic reserves into the market, stating that this will have a significant impact on lowering prices.

Previously, during a visit to a business establishment in Cincinnati, he had stated that fluctuations in oil prices are related to war. Trump said, 'Oil prices will drop significantly. During such a war, prices rise and then fall; this is almost predictable.' He added that the current increase is less than expected and claimed that in the future, oil prices will drop more than anyone has predicted.

Trump also commented on the situation in the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world's most important oil shipping routes, stating that the US is closely monitoring the situation there. Trump claimed that many Iranian boats have been destroyed due to US action and that the situation there is now under control.
