One Dead, One Injured in Scorpio-Motorcycle Collision in Sunsari, Nepal

Sunsari. One person died today in a vehicle accident in Koshi Rural Municipality-4, Sunsari. The deceased has been identified as 28-year-old Amarlal Sah from Bishnupur Rural Municipality-2, Saptari, informed Deputy Superintendent of Police Chandra Bahadur Khadka of the District Police Office.

The Scorpio with registration number Sa 1 Cha 921, traveling from Inaruwa towards Koshi Barrage along the East-West Highway, collided with a motorcycle with registration number Madhes Pra 06-001 Pa 0952 coming from the opposite direction, severely injuring the rider Sah and the pillion rider, 26-year-old Pushpa Sah.

DSP Khadka informed that Amarlal died during treatment while receiving intensive care. The District Police Office, Sunsari stated that the seriously injured Pushpa has been sent to Golden Hospital, Biratnagar for further treatment.

The Scorpio and its driver, 26-year-old Ranjit Chaudhary from Bodhebarsain Municipality-6, Saptari, are currently under the custody of the District Police Office, Sunsari.
