Police Recover Pistol and Ammunition in Kathmandu's Jambu Danda Area

Kathmandu. Police have recovered a pistol and ammunition from Jambu Danda in Baudha, Kathmandu. One pistol and 100 rounds of ammunition were recovered from Jambu Danda in Gokarneshwor Municipality-5, SP Pawan Bhattarai of the Kathmandu District Police Range told Ratopati.

Acting on a special tip-off, a team led by DSP Santosh Roka of the Baudha Police Circle recovered the pistol hidden in the bushes. It is suspected that the pistol was looted by protestors during the 'Jana Andolan' (People's Movement) on Bhadra 24. SP Bhattarai stated that three magazines were also recovered from the scene. He said, 'The investigation is ongoing regarding where the pistol was looted from.'

Police are also investigating the suspects involved in looting the weapon.
