Motorcycle Collision in Dhobighat Claims One Life

Kathmandu. One person has died when a motorcycle collided with a parked truck in Dhobighat, Lalitpur. Around 8 PM on Tuesday night, motorcycle number Ba.75 Pa 870, which was going from Sanepa towards Nakhhu, collided with truck number Bagmati Province 03–001 Kha 2015 parked on the road.

According to SP Naresh Subedi of the Metropolitan Traffic Police Office, Ritesh Shrestha, 20, a resident of Dhunibeshi, Dhading, who was seriously injured in the accident, died during treatment. He was sent to Mediciti Hospital after being seriously injured in the accident.

Police Division Sanepa has arrested the truck driver, Dipendra Karki, 26, a resident of Dudhauli-7, Sindhuli. Samir Bhujel, 20, a resident of Saat Ghumti, Dhading, who was riding pillion on the motorcycle, is undergoing treatment. His condition is also serious.
