Filming Begins for Nepali Movie 'Muktipur'

Filming for the movie 'Muktipur' has commenced. The shooting began with an auspicious launch ceremony held at the Indrayani Temple located in Vasundhara. The film, directed by Sunil Pandey, is being produced under the banner of Sahiba Film Production in collaboration with Everest Film Academy.

The movie features actors Nazir Hussain, Gaurav Pahari, Prakash Shah, and Evanraj Upreti. Actress Aakriti Budhathoki is making her debut with this film.

Bishal Shrestha is the executive producer for the film, which has Vijay Rajbanshi and Roshan Paswan as producers, and Keshav Gautam as co-producer. Samrat Basnet is the action director, and Sharad Mahato will handle the cinematography. Sanjay Gurung and Suraj Chaudhary serve as line producers.

The film, made in the Crime Revenge genre, will revolve around a story of vengeance. Director Pandey stated, "The film will narrate the story of the struggle and success of a character representing a family following a significant event in their life and the resulting circumstances."

At the event, actor Nazir Hussain expressed confidence that 'Muktipur' would be an important milestone in his career. He said, "I want every film to be new for me. This film will present a different story and performance to the audience compared to my past work."

Budhathoki, who has experience acting in music videos, expressed excitement about acting on the big screen. The film has a shooting schedule of 40 days, but its release date has not yet been set.
