Royalty Distributed to Songwriters and Musicians

Kathmandu. Royalty received from TikTok, transportation, radio, hotels, etc. has been distributed to lyricists and musicians. The royalty was distributed at a program organized on the occasion of the 19th anniversary of the Music Royalty Collection Society Nepal on Monday.

At the program, the President of the Music Royalty Collection Society Nepal and senior musician Suresh Adhikari, senior creator Shreepurush Dhakal, among others, provided the royalty. There are 2 thousand people who received the royalty. The amount of royalty distributed to them is 55 lakhs.

Senior singer Chandrakala Shah, senior singer Meera Rana, Dr. Krishnahari Baral, Chairman of the Lyricists Association Nepal Basanta Bityasi Thapa, famous singer Radhika Hamal, famous singer Devi Gharti Magar, among others, were also present at the program organized at Nepal Pragya Bhawan Kamaladi.

From now on, arrangements are also being made to deposit the royalty directly into the bank account, Chairman Adhikari informed at the program.
