Three Candidates in Sudurpashchim Province Fail to Secure Even 10 Votes in Recent Elections

Dhangadhi. Among the 206 candidates who contested in the Sudurpashchim Province elections, it has been found that three candidates failed to secure even 10 votes. These three candidates who could not reach 10 votes all belong to the Miteri Party Nepal.

According to the final election results, Miteri Party Nepal's candidate Samjhana Bisht Thapa received only 2 votes in Kailali Constituency No. 2. While the winning candidate in this constituency secured victory by obtaining more than 19,000 votes, she received the lowest tally of only 2 votes.

Similarly, in Kailali Constituency No. 5, the situation was the same for another candidate from the same party, Radhika Kumari Karki. She received only 3 votes in the election. The winner here received more than 31,000 votes.

Furthermore, Karan Thapa, another candidate from Miteri Party Nepal who contested in Kanchanpur Constituency No. 3, also received only 6 votes. The winning candidate there secured more than 27,000 votes.

In this election, although smaller parties fielded female candidates and sent them to the electoral arena, they failed to garner votes.
