Rastriya Swatantra Party Leads in Proportional Representation Vote Count, Over 9.2 Million Votes Tabulated

Kathmandu. More than 9.2 million votes have been counted so far under the proportional representation (PR) category of the House of Representatives election. According to the Election Commission, the Rastriya Swatantra Party has secured the first position, garnering 48.31 percent of the 9,200,099 votes counted to date.

Similarly, the Nepali Congress has received 16.16 percent, and CPN-UML has received 13.55 percent of the votes. The Communist Party of Nepal has received 7.27 percent, the Shram Sanskriti Party 3.46 percent, and the Rastriya Prajatantra Party 3.23 percent of the votes.

So far, the Rastriya Swatantra Party has received 4,444,510 votes under proportional representation. The Nepali Congress has received 1,486,403 votes.

CPN-UML, on the other hand, has received 1,246,192 votes. Likewise, the Communist Party of Nepal has received 669,130, the Shram Sanskriti Party 318,456, and the Rastriya Prajatantra Party has received 297,201 votes.

The Janata Samajbadi Party has so far received 142,699 votes in the proportional representation category. The Rastriya Parivartan Party has received 139,345 votes.
