Rastriya Swatantra Party's Lalbikram Thapa Wins Sunsari-2 Parliamentary Seat

Biratnagar. Lalbikram Thapa of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has emerged victorious from Constituency No. 2 of Sunsari. He defeated Congress candidate Rajeev Koirala by a significant margin.

According to the final vote count, Thapa secured 57,348 votes. Koirala of the Nepali Congress, who finished in second place, garnered 16,071 votes, while CPN-UML's Sujan Lama received 8,303 votes. Chetan Rai, the candidate from Harka Sampang's Labor Culture Party, secured 7,484 votes in the constituency.
