Eight Arrested Across Nepal for Possession of Illegal Drugs and Banned Medical Supplies

Kathmandu. Police teams on patrol from various police stations across the country arrested eight individuals on Saturday for possessing banned medical drugs and narcotics.

According to the Central Police Newsroom, the arrests were made from Mangalbare in Pathari Shanishchare Municipality-8, Morang; New Manakamana Guest House in Ghorahi Sub-Metropolitan City-14, Dang; Chatakpur in Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-3, Kailali; and Syaule Chowk in Krishnapur Municipality-2, Kanchanpur.

Police stated that three individuals, including Man Bahadur Darji, were arrested from Mangalbare in Pathari Shanishchare Municipality-8; two individuals were arrested with a substance resembling Brown Sugar narcotics from the New Manakamana Guest House in Ghorahi-14; two individuals, including 23-year-old Aman Rana, were arrested from Chatakpur in Dhangadhi-3; and 25-year-old Kuber Shahi was arrested with a substance resembling brown heroin narcotics from Syaule Chowk in Krishnapur-2. Police have stated that necessary investigations are underway regarding these incidents.
