CPN-UML Candidate Parbat Gurung Begins Thanking Voters Amidst House of Representatives Vote Counting

Kathmandu. While the counting of votes for the House of Representatives election 2082 is ongoing, CPN-UML candidate from Dolakha, Parbat Gurung, has started a campaign to thank the voters.

He began thanking voters by reaching Jiri on Saturday. According to the latest data from the ongoing vote count, Jagdish Kharel of the Rastriya Swatantra Party is leading ahead of leader Gurung. Leader Gurung has committed to respecting the election results and dedicating himself to the welfare of the people of Dolakha, while starting to thank the voters.

He expressed gratitude to all the party leaders, cadres, supporters, and well-wishers who worked during the election. He said, 'The mandate expressed by the people is the greatest power of democracy. Therefore, whatever the result, we respect that public mandate. Even after the election is over, I will always remain with the people.'

Meanwhile, local residents praised leader Gurung's initiative to reach out and express thanks even before the results were announced, not just after the election, stating that it sends a message of respect for the public mandate and maintaining continuous relations with the people.
