Election Results Update: Nepali Congress Wins Two Seats in Gandaki Province; RSP Leads in Majority of Remaining Constituencies

Pokhara. The final vote count has been made public for 2 out of the 18 constituencies in Gandaki Province.

Nepali Congress candidates have emerged victorious in both constituencies where the final results have been announced. Yogesh Gauchan Thkali won in Mustang, while Tek Bahadur Gurung secured the win in Manang. Yogesh maintained a lead of over 1500 votes, while Tek Bahadur registered a victory with an advantage of over 1900 votes.

Among the remaining 16, counting has not yet begun in Gorkha 1. In almost all constituencies where counting has commenced, Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidates have taken the lead. RSP is ahead in all three constituencies of Kaski. In Constituency No. 1, Khadakraj Paudel is leading, in Constituency No. 2, Uttam Paudel, and in Constituency No. 3, Bina Gurung is leading by a significant margin.

RSP's Swarnim Wagle leads in Tanahun-1, and Sriram Neupane leads in Tanahun-2. In Nawalpur-1, RSP's Rajan Gautam has taken the lead, and in Nawalpur-2, RSP's Manish Khanal is leading. In Syangja-1, RSP's Dhananjay Regmi is increasing his lead.

The competition in Lamjung is close. RSP, Congress, and UML are taking the lead alternately. However, RSP has increased its lead recently. In Gorkha-2, RSP's Kabindra Burlakoti is ahead. He has left behind Congress's Prakash Chandra Dwadi and the CPN's Lekhnath Neupane.

Independent candidate Mahaabir Pun is leading by a large margin in Myagdi. In Parbat, RSP's Sagar Bhusal has also taken the lead. Congress and UML are closely trailing him here.

In Baglung-1, Sushil Khadka is leading, and in Baglung-2, Som Sharma is leading. Both are RSP candidates. In Syangja-2, UML's Khimbahadur Khadka has a narrow lead. Congress's Bhagwat Prakash Malla and RSP's Jhavilal Dumre are closely following.
