Vote Counting Begins in Both Bhaktapur Constituencies

Bhaktapur. Vote counting is set to begin today in both constituencies of Bhaktapur. Chief District Officer Umesh Kumar Dhakal informed that preparations are underway for counting votes for Bhaktapur Constituency No. 1 at the Nepal Electricity Authority in Kharipati, and for Constituency No. 2 at the Agricultural Development Bank Training Center in Bode, Madhyapur Thimi.

He mentioned that the process of bringing ballot boxes, along with official records from all polling stations in the district, to the respective counting centers has been completed, and counting will commence after an all-party meeting. Both counting centers have been secured with wire fencing and CCTV cameras. Preparations have been made to conduct counting simultaneously in four pockets each at both locations.

The District Election Office reported that a total of 71.46 percent voter turnout was recorded across 233 polling stations in 76 polling centers within Bhaktapur's two electoral constituencies.
